Posted on December 7, 2013
As 2014 is announcing a state of thoughtful, emotional and artistic equilibrium its come so natural to circularize your existence with colors that reflect this. Inspired by a mixture of blooming flowers, travels abroad and strong, confident woman, designers use color to refresh, revive and defy conventional wisdom.
Selection for the upcoming year of Panton house, the global authority of colors, is pastel colors that can easily be combined with all others. Placid Blue brings calmness and peace into a perfect reassuring sky, while Violet Tulip is a romantic vintage brush line that evokes nostalgia. Ornamental green, Hemlock, provides a decorative touch that’s very different from green of recent seasons. Combining it with Sand, lightly toasted and amiable neutral, you get a perfect natural balance. Paloma is interesting enough to stand-alone or to be tangled with others gaining sophisticated poise. Cayenne adds a dash of spicy heat to those neutral tones and especially it is interesting while mixing up with Freesia, blazing yellow that illuminates details. When keen for some more optimistic, spontaneous hue it can help warmth and energized Celosia Orange. The palette brings full circle, with our top cherry for this season, Radiant Orchid, the bold counterpart of Violet Tulip and there is as well Dazzling Blue polar opposite of Placid Blue. Those super strong colors pair so well across the palette, giving perfect compliments to pastel tones.
For 2014 the color we highly recommend is one of those “inconvenient” a purple orchid that is not just easy to wear. Express your confident, independence and balance you will succeed through the years. Wear your calmness and peacefulness that expose your inner beauty and makes you glow.
